      Possible, if you can inject IDM executable using OllyDbg to make IDM not register its DLL.
      If you can't meet that conditions above, then you can't.

      I can only update this app rarely due to IDM update that is extremely often, at least every week IDM got an update. I need at least a week to portablize an app.

      yes please update. there are times that I get "fake serial" popup after several days of use. when this happens, I just delete Data folder and start all over again and it would be good again.

      Is it possible to change "save to" location ?

      every time i open IDM Potable, the download location reset to it's default path.
